Privacy Policy
Draft for legal review
This policy explains how Blessed Pixels collects, uses and protects personal data when you use our website, customer portal and services. It is written with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018 in mind.
Who we are
Blessed Pixels is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and portal. Contact us at hello@blessedpixels.com.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email address and password (stored as a secure hash by our authentication provider).
- Business details you provide: business name, website URL, phone number, country, locations, industry and project notes.
- Messages and files you send through the portal.
- Booking details and consultation questionnaire answers.
- Payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us.
- Basic technical data needed to run the service securely, such as IP address and browser type.
Why we use it
To provide audits, implementation projects and consultations (contract); to send service emails about your project (contract); to keep the service secure (legitimate interests); and to meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation). We do not sell personal data.
Who we share it with
Service providers who help us run the service, under appropriate agreements: hosting and database (Supabase), payments (Stripe), calendar (Google), and transactional email. Some providers may process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards. If you visit from outside the UK, your browser fetches the day's exchange rates from Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev); like any website, it sees your IP address, and we send it nothing else. [List to be confirmed.]
How long we keep it
Project records are kept for the duration of our relationship and for up to six years afterwards for legal and accounting purposes, unless a shorter period applies. [Retention schedule to be confirmed.]
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and object to certain processing. Contact hello@blessedpixels.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
