The basics
What is an AI-ready website?
An AI-ready website presents your business information clearly, consistently and in a structured way, so search engines, AI search tools and future AI agents can understand who you are, what you offer, where you operate and how to contact you. It still works exactly the same for human visitors.
Do I need a new website?
Usually not. Most improvements can be made to your existing website. We only recommend rebuilding when the current platform or architecture genuinely prevents the changes your business needs, and we will explain why if that is the case.
Can you work with my existing website?
Yes. Working with existing websites is the core of what we do. We preserve your design, content and platform wherever possible and focus on structure, technical signals and clarity.
Can you improve my website without redesigning it?
In most cases, yes. Structured data, crawler access, headings, service and location information, FAQs and internal linking can usually be improved without changing how your website looks.
Platforms
What platforms do you support?
We regularly work with WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Webflow, Squarespace and custom-coded websites, and with other CMS platforms where feasible. Each platform has different limits, so your audit report explains what is possible on yours.
Do you work with WordPress?
Yes. WordPress offers a lot of flexibility for structured data, technical settings and content structure, so most recommended improvements can be implemented.
Can you work with Shopify?
Yes. We work within Shopify themes, product and collection structures and app settings. Some platform-controlled files have limits, which we flag in the audit.
Can you work with Wix?
Yes. Wix supports many of the improvements we recommend, including custom structured data and SEO settings. A few technical controls are managed by Wix itself, and we explain where that applies.
Can you work with Webflow?
Yes. Webflow gives good control over page structure, metadata and custom code, which suits most of our implementation work.
Can you work with Squarespace?
Yes. Squarespace supports metadata, page structure and code injection for structured data. Some server-level settings are controlled by Squarespace, and we will tell you if that affects a recommendation.
Can you work with custom websites?
Yes. Custom-coded websites often give the most control. We can implement changes directly or provide precise specifications for your developer.
The audit
How long does the audit take?
Your detailed PDF audit report is delivered within 48 hours of receiving your website details. If anything is unclear, we will message you through your dashboard.
What does the £99 audit include?
A professional, human-reviewed review of AI crawler accessibility, technical structure, structured data, business and entity information, content and answer coverage, trust signals and search/AI readiness, delivered as a detailed PDF report with prioritised recommendations.
Pricing
How much does implementation cost?
Implementation starts from £499. Your final price is set after the audit, based on the findings and the work required. You receive a written proposal with scope, price and timeline, and nothing starts until you approve it.
Why isn't implementation a fixed £499?
Every website is different. The number of issues, the size of the site, the platform, technical complexity, content needs and access all affect the work. A fixed price would mean overcharging simple websites or under-delivering on complex ones, so we quote each project on its findings.
Access and changes
Will you make changes directly to my website?
Only if you want us to and after you approve the proposal. We can implement changes ourselves with appropriate access, or work alongside your developer or web agency.
Do I need to provide website access?
Not for the audit, which reviews your public website. For implementation we usually need access, and we will send secure, platform-specific instructions (such as adding us as a collaborator). Please never send passwords through our dashboard, messages or email.
Technical terms
What is structured data?
Structured data is a standardised way of labelling information on a web page, such as your business name, services, opening hours or FAQs, so machines can read it reliably rather than guessing from the page layout.
What is Schema.org?
Schema.org is a shared vocabulary for structured data, supported by major search engines. It defines types such as Organization, LocalBusiness, Service and FAQPage. We use it to describe what is genuinely on your pages, never to add claims that are not there.
What is robots.txt?
robots.txt is a small file on your website that tells automated crawlers which areas they may or may not visit. A misconfigured robots.txt can unintentionally block search engines or AI search crawlers from public content.
What are AI crawlers?
AI crawlers are automated agents operated by AI and search companies, such as OAI-SearchBot and GPTBot from OpenAI, or the Google-Extended control from Google. Each has its own purpose and documented controls. We help you decide which to allow, based on your goals.

Will this help ChatGPT and Google's AI recommend my business?
It puts your business in a much stronger position. AI tools recommend businesses they can clearly read, understand and trust, and that is exactly what we improve: your services, locations, business details and the technical signals AI relies on. The final choice of what to show always rests with Google, OpenAI and the other AI companies, so we focus on what you can control and tell you plainly what will make the biggest difference.
